MBB Aerial

Aerial remote shot from tonight's basketball game against Tennessee. For the first time we tried this, I think it turned out pretty well.

Shot another football game last weekend. We won 52-6 against Eastern Michigan. Yeah. Managed to get this before the game.

This is Zac. We work together a lot on photo stuff, and we decided to set up a white seamless to shoot a bunch of portraits for WRVU (Vandy's radio station) and VTV (student television). Sadly, only one WRVU DJ showed up in the two hour slot we had for them, so we shot each other.

Strobist: White Lightning 1600 camera left, reflective umbrella. The lights that were blowing out the seamless were turned off.

I'm behind on the 52 project, so this week you get two. This one was actually taken the same day and place as Nelson's portrait. At some point I'll get around to masking out the lamp pole that stuck itself right in front of my sunset.

Fellow photographer Nelson Hua on the roof of the 25th avenue parking garage.

Strobist: 580 EXII gridded, camera left against wall. Silver reflector camera right just out of frame.

A bunch of the photographers at Vanderbilt staged a miniature strobist meetup Saturday night. It was great--I'm hoping to put them together more often.
