This was almost above my house this morning. My husband took of his sunglasses and put it over my camera lens so you could see it the way we did. This rainbow is called cloud iridescence.

Love it when couples work together!!!! I grew up in a rural area full of folklore....a Rainbow is God's promise.....the thought always comes to mind when I am fortunate enough to see one!!!!

I'll never forget my last trip to the Adirondacks. It'd just finished raining and this rainbow kept following us for miles and through turns. It was like an optical illusion of a rainbow which was just outside our car.....if you can imagine that. :-)
