Yes, Pete, you said something in my last shot about not looking like a librarian. I met a photographer in 2005 who was touring the country taking photos of librarians for a book titled "I am a librarian." Your comment reminded me of that and inspired me to take my own librarianish images. More to come. :)

fantastic shot...very creative. i think you've started a little wave through flickr with this one.
quite a few there i know--that feels good. adams is my all time favorite author, probably because he was the first to really open the world of words (and space) to me in ways i had not previously known. the world lost a good man there, that's for sure.
and yeah, i have to admit: i tried to buy the harry potter 6 at midnight at our local wal-mart the day it was released, only to find out that we had the only wal-mart not open 24 hours. grr.
not so now. you can know where i'll be at 12:00 am when they release the last one. =]
