'Q' IS FOR QUAIL EGGS
I knew from our last class that 'Q' nearly did me in, so I wanted to get it out of the way--immediately! I had in mind that I would shoot quail eggs and for some odd reason thought they would be readily available at the grocery store. Two hours later as I watched the sun go down I found the darn eggs and proceeded to break one immediately (they are really delicate).

My exif reads that I took this at 7 a.m., so I need to re-set my camera clock, this was taken at around 6 p.m., I shot at the window but there was no light (being hopeful). I used an off camera flash, Canon Speedlite. I actually don't know how to use it that well, but figured I would use these 30 days to practice. I bounced the flash off my ceiling, but more like off my eyeball as I had the camera held vertically and kept blinding myself with the flash. Oh yes I used a texture from a fellow Flickr member les brumes
I have two other versions in my photostream.
