Sunset Through The Gate

Sunset Through The Gate

Scotland is just beautiful and I love that at my parents house its all on their door step. That white house in the middle on the right is my parents so they really picked an amazing place to live. I cannot wait to move to Scotland! Just so you know this is a HDR shot with 5 exposures.

Peregrine Falcon

Peregrine Falcon

I love photographing my Peregrine Falcon, it’s hidden away where so you wouldn’t even know it was there unless somebody told you. I’ve photographed this peregrine a few times before but never really got the shot I wanted and to this day I still haven’t got the shot I’ve wanted that’s why I keep going when I can. I waited around two hours to get this shot and when it arrived I had only a few seconds to get the shot until it flew off again.

I think next time I might try and set up a perch so I can get a more interesting shot than what I’ve already had but the area is really hard to work as it’s on a water dam so a lot of trial and error will have to happen first.

Flying Into The Wind

Flying Into The Wind

Here is the first shot of many of the Barn Owl I got to photograph up in Scotland. A lot of hard work and timing went into getting these shots so it shows if you put your research into the subject you will be rewarded with wonderful images to show the world.

New Brighton Lighthouse

New Brighton Lighthouse

For about a year I kept seeing this lighthouse on my travels around Liverpool but I had never got a chance to go to it until last week and I've got to say it's a really lovely place. The tide was out at the time I was there so it meant I could get as close to the lighthouse as I wanted. I think black and white works a lot better for this shot as in colour the blues just stood out too much as it was so bright that day.
