I understand that people wept while listening to Barack Obama's speech following his caucus victory in Iowa.
I think he is a great speaker.
What are the SPECIFIC changes that you EXPECT and WANT Obama or any of the others to make to American government, economic life, society, etc . . . . . ?

mattcr2006: I'm especially receptive to the idea of wresting away foreign oil's control on the American economy and I believe in the hope that a new, 'green industry' could spur new jobs in economic dead-zones around the country. Essentially, all of the candidates have addressed this is one fashion or another, so it's difficult to choose based on fleeting, scripted talking points.
I will add, however, that Obama is definitely an amazing speaker. Charasmatic enough, even, that the line to get into the auditorium stretched into infinity. I spoke with people from all over the country, of all ages, races and creeds. Some were decided and some were not. But, in the end, I got a definite sense of a candidate who unites people with optimism, rather than fearmongering. That's most important to me.

Yes, it's notable that with assets values @ LESS than $500k, he's by far the poorest of the candidates.
That's a very rare thing. . . . . and a good thing.
