In my country, healthcare, especially for the poor and the underprivileged, is a luxury rather than a necessity.
Doctors like me receive a very small amount of compensation for work that is unbelievably hard.
What is gold about all of this is that these very people – the underdogs of society, the vagabonds of the streets, the moneyless, the poor – are the people who appreciate us the most. They give us bread, fruits and even livestock as a sign of gratitude.
This kind of thankfulness is what I call treasure ☺
