Alhamdulillah, I was given the trust and the opportunity to produce an artwork using the rarest medium; old 4mm-thick Aluminum sheets retrieved from Dome Of The Rock in al-Aqsa, Jerusalem, Palestine for incoming exhibition, insyaAllah it will travel around the world with a vision to use it in a campaign for the Right of all Muslims to Pray at al-Aqsa and free Islam’s Third Holiest Sanctuary from Zionist oppression.

Description

An exhibition to feature artworks made from old 4mm-thick Aluminum sheets retrieved from the Dome of the Rock in al-Aqsa, Jerusalem, Palestine during the last Restoration Work of 1992-1994.

The exhibition is to bring forth the meaning and significance of the first Qiblah of the Muslims and Islam and the remembering of the two Holy Sanctuaries (al-Haramain). It is to become the tool and message to awaken the Ummah of the importance of al-Aqsa. It is strongly rooted in our aqidah and iman (creed and faith of the Muslims).
