The graceful rose casts
Not only its beauty, but its
Handsome reflection.
Reminding those of the
Pleasure that was,
In the hey days of the season.
Touchingly bequeathing,
Petals leave their kiss behind;
Their scent fading to
The keenest nostril.
Going but not gone;
Fading but not forgotten.

Thank you Shane. No, no I'm fine. It is all about the rose as I saw it. I hadn't seen the wilt so much until processing, and then the words and ideas came to me purely based on what was in front of my eyes.
