A beautful hot sunny day, the evening brought these clouds over the
hills at Rhossili. Compare the big one on the left with the light
fluffy kind we'd been having in the afternoon!

what a glorious view...love the little row of sunlit houses.

That's beautiful as well as menacing - a lovely picture. If I might quote from the prophet Joni Mitchell:
Rows and floes of angel hair
And ice cream castles in the air
And feather canyons evrywhere
Ive looked at clouds that way
But now they only block the sun
They rain and snow on evryone
So many things I would have done
But clouds got in my way
Ive looked at clouds from both sides now
From up and down, and still somehow
Its cloud illusions I recall
I really dont know clouds at all
It looks like another summer of hosepipe-obligation!

Thanks Ken. It was somewhat enhanced but the sky was quite malevolent. Perhaps the storm happened by the time the clouds reached Lundy Island near Cornwall, because we didn't catch anything dramatic while there or the tail-end of it when we got home either...
