Guys I'm such a ditz! I edited this in Flickr, was going over my stream and it caught me eye as being a little skewed to one side so I straightened. This is an old pic which I posted before and I had chosen to Replace but obviously it didn't!

      Thanks so much you all!!
Mike, I'll go down especially to carve your name my friend!! (Well will felt pen do, cos I'm rubbish at carving?! ;-)) )

lovely contrast here. this what you did as a kid?

    9. Athena's Pix 54 months ago | reply

Nope! I'm sure my name is on some trees back in Ireland but I'm not responsible for destroying the trees!! :-))

    10. M'sheArt2 54 months ago | reply

It takes a lot more then a little craving to destroy a tree Athena, one would have to de bark a tree in complete circumference, even if it was a tiny smidgen if in total circumference that would kill it.. just an fyi incase your craving abilities improves eh '~]))

Lovely image, and this looks like a mighty old tree maybe A Birch?

Hehe, but do you know if the tree screams Mia?! :-)) I'd hate to take penknife to it and hear it in pain! Ok ok kidding over! Thanks very much, and it could be a birch, the bark would certainly be similar. Next time I go back in spring I'll keep my eyes open for the leaves!

      Thanks Richard!
