Located in the centre of Pembroke town (not to be confused with Pembroke Dock a few miles away) this magnificent castle was once the home of Henry Tudor as well as Strongbow, (Richard de Clare, Earl of Pembroke) and his son-in-law, William Marshall. Built beside the river Cleddau, it occupies a splendid elevated spot and is surrounded on one half by water. Thanks to flambard - www.flickr.com/photos/flambard for telling me that Henry (Tudor) VII was born in the gatehouse tower! View On Black

Thanks Joe, it was a few years ago now, seems like so long! My compact camera is all I had then.
