Tawny Frogmouth (Podargus strigoides)

Tawny Frogmouth (Podargus strigoides), West Gippsland, Victoria.

 

I spotted a Barn Owl flying across the road and we stopped to look but couldn't track where it landed. Luckily a few metres on this Tawny Frogmouth was much more obliging.
