Singing bird embroidery
I've been embroidering a lot lately...I'm doing all of my ink birds
and I can't wait to show you guys...
I embroidered them with a single thread so it's very detailed and
delicate. I've finished two of the birds but the other one hasn't been
made into something useful yet ;) I'll show you when I'm finished with
it.
I used regular cotton DMC embroidery thread on heavy linen fabric.

Beautiful :-) Looks almost as though you drew it with coloured pens! Did you sketch the bird before sewing?
