Kupol, Chukotka, Russia: Collapsible Fuel Tanks
SEI Industries provided a turn key temporary fuel farm and deployed it in Far Eastern Siberia, Russia. The system was designed to store 2,000,000 USG (7,570,000 Liters) of fuel.

It was set up and operated during the month of January with temperatures around -55 C. Fuel arrived 24 hours a day truck from Pevek and pumped into Arctic King collapsible fuel tanks by a 250 USG (1000 Litre) per minute trailer mounted fuel pump.

The fuel was stored in 64 Arctic King tanks that sit inside an above ground earth in secondary containment berm.

The berm is equipped with an oil water separator to prevent ground contamination in the event of a spill. The custom designed pumps serve two purposes; bulk fuel transfer from tanker trucks to the tanks and vehicle refueling from the tanks to site vehicles. The pump system includes metering and filtration. This fuel farm was used to support the construction of a new gold mine.
