The Old Town Clock plays a central role in the port city of Halifax. Sitting at the base of the Citadel, it is visible to those busy in the downtown and waterfront areas. Sight lines to the clock are protected by planners but challenged by new developments.

I spent two years in Toronto back in the 80s, and had always wanted to visit Halifax but never made it. This image somehow brings back some fond memories of my time in Canada, and it is what I had always imagined Nova Scotia to be...plenty of snow, but absolutely stunning.

Clever and creative treatment ! A slightly blue- tinted black and white --great contrast in color and sizes. Your clock capture reminds me of a beautiful wedding cake ! Your discerning eye certainly allows you to see things uniquely and beautifully.
