The season of street fairs is underway; I'm pretty sure you could find a street fair, county fair or art & wine festival to go to every single weekend in the Bay Area from now thru late fall. As long as you "look but don't buy" it can be a fun and interesting and economical form of entertainment, and of course ripe with photo ops ! Staying away from the street vendor food is probably a good idea too - if you care at all about your arteries....

Great job at capturing the action of the cooks making what is oh so good but oh so bad for you. I love going to events like this to people watch and, like you, for the photo ops.

That looks and probably smelled, absolutely delicious, fried calamari is always a fave of mine, and hopefully it's healthier than fried beef, pork or potatoes.
