Confederate General Robert Houston Anderson
This is the gravesite of Confederate General Robert H. Anderson, who was born in Savannah. He fought in the Civil War and lead his men against Union forces in Sherman's March to the Sea and the Carolinas Campaign before the Confederacy later collapsed. Later served as police chief in Savannah.
