      Hi, Nika! happy new year!!
      I am wondering why you have tags of "msg" on annatto. Are they treated or something? because I thought they are just dried seeds.
      How did you grind them? I got some for my brother in lkaw who makes this pork recipe that asks for it, but he had never found it. But the seeds were super hard and he didn't manage to grind them in a mortar. He used the blender, but it was quite rough.

      Erika13: The seeds are free of MSG (as far as I can tell) - I wrote about them, Sazon, MSG, and latino food in this blog post!

      You have to grind the seeds in a spice grinder. MSG is not on these seeds...but when you buy ground annato in a packet...they add it. So it's better to grind your own.
