All alone again
A puppy that came up to us on the beach during our last holiday. It was so difficult to leave him there when we had to go. Taken with a conventional 35mm SLR, then scanned. No further processing at all.

You should have brought this sweet puppy along with you - Marley needs a companion anyway!

The sand on its nose hints at something interesting being already dug into the sand.

Have 'Alone Again, Naturally' playing in my head now. Such a tiny puppy, you can almost see him or her shivering in loneliness...

Its a very emotional portrait. Well taken though a tigher crop would have been better.

I really debated which one I prefer, but I think I'll go with this one. He just looks so lonely and sad, and I really love the composition.
Which do you prefer?
Porterness (74 months ago | reply)
This one because he/she looks so awkward and I just what to help the little guy/girl.
sweetangel05 (74 months ago | reply)
I prefer this one because he looks like he is trying to be sneeky! The other one he looks old and very sad! Which do you prefer?

This is so cute...!
I also prefer this one, I like the composition and I also agree with sweetangel about being sneeky.
The "body expression" of the dog here is great!
Which do you prefer?
