So my brother in law and I decided to play around with the steel wool again. We drove out to the Abbey of Gethsemani late one night to an old unused silo and storage shed. The last time we attempted this it was right in downtown Bardstown and ended up getting stopped by the police. Luckily the officer didn't care what we were doing and left us alone to finish. This time it was much more peaceful. Kinda scary accutally because we could hear strange animal noises in the darkness not to mention it was like 30 degrees outside. Our new steel wool spinning contraption made from a cooking wish and some wire worked out great though.

While getting ready for church this morning I found some extra time before leaving so I decided to upload something for Sunday. This is another shot of the cross at the Abbey of Gethsemani.

So ya the title is a bit much but thats what us geeks and photographers call it when we look at photos of camera that we wish we could have. Slobbering over $6,000 cameras that most of us can't afford. Well my buddy Charlie has a D3S and just about every lens Nikon has produced since the 70's. While we were shooting at Bernheim forest I got my hands on his camera and decided to photograph it in the wild. He was using the Nikkor 50mm 1.4G lens most of the time and then the cheap 70-300mm G lens. I love the way the camera feels in the hands. I used to shoot with a D2H which was another nikon built like a beast but it was not as tough as the D3/S. I want one!!!
