light by day
we have had many days of grey skies. i like to see the sun and be in it even when it's cold out.
i went into the garage to do laundry the other day and to my surprise there was a woodpecker trapped in the closed garage. i opened the door hoping he/she would see the light coming in from the door and be drawn to it rather then the light of the window. he/she flew out the door and left some of these beautiful feathers behind for me. i'm pretty sure it was one of these www.allaboutbirds.org/guide/Downy_Woodpecker/id/ac.
