I consider these kind of a failure. They were not light and fluffy enough, and tasted a bit like leaves. I got the mix from Trader Joes (where I am usually so impressed by their products!) and made the icing myself (well, added the orange extract to and grated in my own orange peel)

Kitty and Alex liked them, though. (Unless they were pulling my leg)

This if a picture of the first dinner that Candice and I shared in our apartment, CH101. She made pasta with sautéed orange peppers and onion, and I supplied chips and corn salsa.

In the summer of 2007, 7-11s accross the country started carrying promotional items for The Simpsons Movie. Several 7-11s were turned into Kwik-I-Marts, including three in LA (where I was living at the time.)

On his visit to the coast, my brother insisted that we go. We are pink donuts and enjoyed Slurpees. They were all out of Krusty-O's, sadly.

Four cupcakes from the snooty Beverly Hills location of Sprinkles Cupcakes. I stood in line for quite a while, made friends with a Texan, and very willingly shelled out $13 for these 4 cupcakes. They were delicious.
