I gave the Girls my circle scarves from American Apparel because they were too thick. So I looked for the sheer scarves at their shop in Philadelphia. It's one thing to buy it on-line where you can't be judged. It's another to walk in as a 42-year-old and have it happen in person.

We walked back to get the car from Washington Square, just the two of us. I'll miss her terribly when she's in Germany. Even though I don't get to see either of them as much as I want to, they're still just a few hours from me or a quick text or chat on the phone. Kind of hard to say all those things when she's on another continent.
