Eastern Gray Squirrel (Sciurus carolinensis)

I love my backyard squirrels but they sure don't love my feeders [ they chew them to pieces] and they put a huge dent in my monthly expenses as I buy them 200 lbs of shelled filberts, fifty pounds of corn on the cob and 100 pounds of sunflower seeds. They have squirrel boxes to sleep in [ winter months] and I keep their water fresh and clean year round. Good thing they are really cute and entertain my cats.
