- my great grandmother's.
- bought when I found out we were having a boy (Calvin!)
- a gift from my lovely editor at Shambhala.
- vintage glass drawer knobs. I couldn't find the 'perfect' hooks I wanted, until I thought of these, from my local architectural salvage store.

Even though they're all 'old', there's an element of
past-present-future to their histories that makes me happy (see the
notes).

wow, I absolutely love the past-present-future connection behind these. a very powerful reminder as you work each day, I'm sure. lovely. And I love that you got that little romper suit when you found out about your boy. I love those kinds of things on boys. I also like long hair & dresses on wee boys, too. eek.
