blocking

I think I've obsessively checked it every 15 minutes for the past 24 hours.

    Not dry yet.

Aim a fan at that puppy. Significantly reduces drying time for us impatient types.

oh - thank you! a fan! Faster gratification is totally worth a trip into the scary attic.

can't wait to see it on! i case on for mine a while ago, but it's been slow going with some gauge issues... sweaters are such a commitment! hopefully well worth it in the end!

Just keep stoking the fire. Hopefully tomorrow morning.

I am working on the same pattern right now. You selected a wonderful color (and yarn).

Oooo. Oooo. Oooooo! You're killing me. I can't wait to see it!
Been checking the finished ones over on Ravelry practically every 15 minutes for the past few weeks, wanting to see how it turns out for others in various yarns.
Oddly enough I've been loving a Lion Brand Wool-ease cheapo yarn version over there, but I'm thinking that's about to change...
Can't you take a blow dryer to it or something?

Oh. Just saw the fan suggestion. Even better.

I really liked the Lion Brand one as well.

I am making my from Elann Peruvian Highland. It's yarn that has been in my stash for a long time.

      It's dry!

I loooooove this sweater. Pictures coming tomorrow!

Siri - The Rowan Scottish Tweed projects really got me. I was worried the Peace Fleece would make it too heavy, but I think it's just right for me. And I ended up using just 4 skeins (for the small), which makes it such a great, cheapish choice. Yay!
