   i love that she is learning on hockey skates (adam swears by it)... i love the stacked milk crates (classic training!!)... and those pants. are those snow pants? awesome.

   i could go on for days, we are such a hockey family. this project is wonderful amanda, and i agree with you - why leave the house?

   aren't those the best pants ever? They are snowpant-like, they're Oilily - hand me downs from our well dressed friends. ;)

   And I totally think I'm going to switch over to hockey skates and ditch the figure skates that make my ankles hurt. Have you seen the new 'comfort skates' crossovers? They're not pretty (I've gotta get over that!), but they do look solid AND comfortable:

   the comfort skates look aweome. much less wobbly ankle business going on with those. my, oh my, I am so jealous of your ice rink (we don't have anything for hundreds of miles around...).

   Those pants ARE the best!

   Good for you for giving up on figure skates, they offer absolutely zero support. Those cross-overs are the ugliest thing I've ever seen, second only to double blades. If they're comfy though...
