what happens in america happens in the world, it's time for a change, time for a different,
better way so tiny me over here in europe keeps her
fingers crossed also!
I wish everyone here in Canada had shown half
the interest in our election a few weeks ago,
as they're showing in the sexier, more
interesting American election. We had a
really poor voter turnout and election
outcome :-P Though I have to admit, I too am
super-interested to see who wins over
there... It's a long time coming!
It's incredible how much people around the
world are waiting. I now I'll go to bed way
too late tonight - the first results are
expected at 11 pm in Portugal.
We had no line at my location in SF Bay Area,
CA. My 6 yr. old, home from school with a
cold, was so excited that this day is finally
here! He came with me and chanted (quietly)
O-ba-ma. Made me laugh.
Congratulations - the USA just thought:
"We don't need another hero" (Tina
Turner), not a fighter, but a negotiator. The USA just went colourblind - "Free
your mind and the rest will follow" . .
