   truly what ive been waiting for. we are growing tomatoes and ive always wanted to make our own sauce BUT was always a bit scared of doing it or letting it go bad, frenchie of course has almost convinced me to do it and you my dear, have pushed me over the edge, i shall try it.

   Love the sauce recipe. Tried it with with Persimmon Oranges and Italian Heirlooms from our farmer's market in Oakland. Added two tablespoons of wine too ... A huge hit at home. My five year-old had THIRDS! (Unheard of.) See the pix here ...
