do you let the kids play with the stuff on
the nature table or is it more for
"looking" at? We don't have our
cats anymore and so we can have one down low
for the first time ever. Wondering if I
should put it up high and keep it pretty or
let them drag the stuff around.. currious how
you do it.
right now our table is up high on this
bookshelf because so much of it is chokable
for Adelaide. But there's a stool in front of
it, and the boys go up and down and play and
move things around and add things everyday.
They pretty much dictate how it looks, and I
just suggest seasonal changes
sometimes...it's been fun to see them arrange
and rearrange it to reflect what they see
outside!
What an awesome idea! (thinking, thinking). I
think I'll do that with some of the stuff
we've been collecting. Most recently picked
up some 40+ milion old fossils at an arts and
crafts fair, that my kids have enjoyed
showing to all their friends. Just saw the
film Rivers and Tides with Andy Goldsworthy's
nature art. It was amazing, you should check
it out at the library.

How weird, I was just thinking and wondering what you guys were doing with your nature table right now. Perfect!
