i'm thinking we should go in that room in the way way back for a dance party. I'm pretty sure I know a few peeps in the three-five feet range who would join me.

wanted to share my first creative family story...I got my preordered copies on Friday afternoon and quickly tore open the box and bask in all the creative goodness.

Of course I only got to skim quickly. I paused here and there and loved the part about your meal ritual of holding hands. So this morning as we sat down to eat I suggested we try it...we are a rather unceromonious family but I really like things like this anyway...4 year old refused to partake but I think she'll warm up to the idea...

Anyway...hubby, me and 19 mo old hands and I thanked daddy for making the yummy breakfast...and as hubby and I let go his hand bumps his hot coffee and spills it all over me.

Instead of get upset...I gave thanks that his coffee was only warm and not too hot...and that it spilled on the table, floor and my lap and not on my food...and that I got to take off my jeans because they were really too tight anyway...and that it was HIS coffee and not mine.

So anyway...long story short...It's a wonderful ritual and even though it meant spilled coffee I was really able to actually enjoy the incident.

      congrats on the book!
