i love those boxes! don't you think the baskets got swept up in the flood of '07?

that's what we finally ended up guessing, beetgreen! I did find one. But what good is ONE easter basket? The clementine boxes were perfect. And for gathering they used wax paper bags. Ha! Improvising.

Great minds...I used a clementine box for the Prairie Girl birthday basket. Perfect. If I did this, mine would begin to suspect mom is involved and the Hare isn't doing it all. ; >

Cute idea! My kids have Easter-themed tote bags, which are a lot easier to store than baskets. We used paper lunch sacks for egg gathering.

On Bradstreets - ha! that photo of your praire girl basket must have crept into my brain when I was searching midnight for easter baskets! ;)

Great! I have always loved those Clementine boxes. When I first found them in the store many years ago, I kept saving the boxes much to my husband's dismay... Well, they do come in handy!!

No clementines here in Aus so no clementine boxes. I think most of our fruit is transported in very ugly but reusable plastic crate things.

Oh and I loved reading on your blog about your family traditions, having grown children without children of their own now I can assure you that making the Spring pants is a tradition you'll treasure as they outgrow these things, and think about how cool it will be to reinact with the grandchildren eventually...
