      Oh good. He's finally arrived. I sent him up your way about 2 weeks ago. But it looks like he has been stopping to sample worms along the way...a lot of worms. Glad he is there!

      no robins here yet way too much snow, they would starve. It has been a big news story today that they are investigating why hundreds of ducks have died along the Canadian/USA border . They are sending wildlife specialist to investigate but think it is due to starvation . So sad here is a link to the news story www.theobserver.ca/ArticleDisplay.aspx?e=9469 01

      Yes, most that we've been seeing so far are surprisingly plump!

      Yes, I do believe he's been sampling the fare along the way. We've had our share and the kids get excited to see those and the bluebirds.

      A little OT but yes, they have been saying starvation on the deer here too ~ just too much ground cover ~ spring pls deliver us!

      my dad had mentioned alot of robins too (and that they were all so surprisingly plump and not stopping to eat) they were in a hurry to get to you! happy spring!
