Havahart is a (brand of) "crueltry -
free" animal traps. But he thinks he can
come up with a better design. I wouldn't be
surprised. He's already had some trapping
success. It scares me. ;)
This reminds me of my daughter! She's been
setting up all sorts of traps to capture a
quail. They have proved to be too elusive so
far... (Thank goodness)!
Liz - he's going for squirrels mostly - but
he'll gladly trap a mouse (he's caught one
before in one of his traps), groundhog, or a
possum.
It's a funny thing - I've never felt so mixed
about one of his passions before - I want him
to be 'successful' but I'm not all that
jazzed about dealing with/thinking about a
trapped possum. ;)
We accidentally caught a possum in a Havahart
once (we were trying for the resident
groundhog), and they really are the funniest
creatures. So docile and interesting. When
we let it out, it just lumbered off like
nothing happened. So... don't worry too much
about a possum! ;)
