backyard visitors
Adelaide spotted them first, jumping up and down saying "LOOOOOOK!" until we all noticed. We've never had this many of them before - usually just one loner. So fun to watch. We were cheering for them to go IN the teepee, but alas, they walked on by. ;)
Ezra was so excited, he said, "Mama! You should TOTALLY put this
in your book!".
Um, how about Flickr, buddy?

We have turkeys everywhere up here. They are certainly fun to watch and especially funny when you are driving and see a whole line of them crossing the road. They take their merry little time :)

Thanks for sharing this, Amanda! My boys FUH REAKED when they saw it. We've only seen live turkeys at the stock show and rodeo! They loved that there was a tepee in your photo too, because we just built one yesterday. Now I wonder... if you build it, will they come?

One of the highlights of the AZ state fair for us last weekend we attending the turkey races. They had several different kinds, and the gals organizing the show were knowledgable and kind--no mistreatment of the birds--it was a hoot! You're lucky to have them just drop in--I'm jealous!
