Jessie’s story..
March 3, 2011, 12-year old Jessie Rees was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor, which led her to meet lots of other kids fighting cancer. During this time she learned first-hand that having cancer can make you feel lonely, limited and like you have been labeled. After a few weeks of treatment, Jessie was so touched by the number of kids living with the same feelings, she asked her parents if she could help all the kids NEGU. When asked what NEGU (knee-goo) meant she said-
“NEVER EVER GIVE UP!”
