rectangle triangle circle sunrise yellow light

rectangle triangle circle sunrise yellow light

at first this wasn't what I wanted.

just now, while I'm on Flickr, the crickets are clickering up in sound on the balcony and in the photo the "Kubrick-like space odyssey" rectangle (which is the apartment roof across the way) seemed to jut out perfectly into the yellow sunrise of my photo and THEN THE ROUND SUN APPEARED as if pushed forward by the square edges (round bright sun to the right of the 5th tree from the left) (I had not seen the almost perfect circle before!) (Is that a dark triangle of cloud in the sky?)

amazing how when you "look again" at life it changes wonderfully into "something new" and this is how FLICKR IS . . . we see a flower's center "as if for the first time" and we write "comments" about it . . . .
how does that compare with the actual experience? ? well, just gotta try to take better photos to get the experience across!

and yet, then again, one may like to say what is attributed to Stanley Kubrick:

"How could we possibly appreciate the Mona Lisa if Leonardo had written at the bottom of the canvas: 'The lady is smiling because she is hiding a secret from her lover.' This would shackle the viewer to reality, and I don't want this to happen to 2001."
(from Wikiquote) (I've BEEN WAITING TO KNOW WHERE TO PUT THIS QUOTE!)

DAY 15 and 16 OF ... as was said in Camelot, "I have no plan. I go wherever chance takes me." today brought our kitchen, its blake tiger symmetry, and its plastic stained-glass random-ness with a colorful window-jam of reflected light

WORKED ON DAY 15 and !6 again at the 81 year old lady with over 3,000 books (including paperbacks that fall apart immediately upon opening, with its paper crumbling beneath your fingers). Booksellers will no longer come to purchase the entire collection to sort out what is valuable for them to keep to sell.

WHILE WORKING at her home (can you imagine being surrounded by books at your fingertips to read-them-all-at-once!) ... one room of philosophy, one of medicine biology (her husband had been a children's surgeon and later on a stem-cell researcher), one room of history, one room of mystery-writers, one room of sociology government politics ala the University of Chicago, one room of named-author novels and poetry, one room of art books and collectibles, and oh my, this could be paradise sitting on a magic rug surrounded by books to sort out by category... yet after 10 hours of it one is tired (very tired) of words. Indeed. Tired of words altogether!

only love is left ... and images...

I NOW LOOK FOR TRANSCRIPTION WORK PART-TIME ... I do dictaphone transcription work which is to transcribe words from mini tapes or regular-size tapes, for long blogs, autobiographies, and all writing.. STILL A VERY HAPPY NEW YEAR 2012. GNF@earthlink.net

NOTE HOW SHARP THE DEMARCATION LINE IS BETWEEN WALL-ROCK AND WATER EDGE (contrasted with the curve of the rock) HOW STRAIGHT IS THE GATE (Andre Gide) WHEN DOING WORK, HOW CURVED IS THE SEARCH FOR WORK

JAPANESE GARDENS January 5, 2012 ... A ROCK IN THIS WATER almost looks like a rhinocerous (spelling?) with an eye and a mouth and a nose! very haiku since all of nature is king in Japanese haiku

LOOK HOW THE GREEN STRINGY LEAVES ARE SO PERFECTLY STILL IN THEIR WATER REFLECTION, IN THEIR OBSERVATION OF THIS SURFACE OF THE WATER ... as if they are looking at themselves in this water-mirror for an entire hour, as if in meditation... STILL, MOTIONLESS, CONTEMPLATING (how great if we could do this for
each other once a day... TOTAL SILENCE. TOTAL VISION ...!

DAY 14 OF ... as was said in Camelot, "I have no plan. I go wherever chance takes me."

DAY 14 OF ... as was said in Camelot, "I have no plan. I go wherever chance takes me."

THE POSSIBILITIES ARE ENDLESS ... COLLAGE BY DIANE ALBERTINA via our little grandson who lives in NYC.

YES, INDEED... what will be the future for today I have registered to be a STUDENT at ELAC a local community college, Feb. 11, 2011 through June 11, 2011 to study DREAMWEAVER to create websites AND to keep the office websites up and current with the office's blogs completed spectacularly! I can hardly wait until June 11 to be a "professional" in this field... and more than that, along the way maybe even an intern, and more than that, even a part-time job like students do while they are going to school... now there's a Day 14 to be proud of, hey?

with love of opportunities and the possibilities all around us that are indeed ENDLESS (let me end these words soon though) (can anyone guess that I love to talk? my neighbors laugh/tire/fire at me for this... tee hee, but hey, it's me!)

TIRED EYES AFTER THIS 13th DAY OF LOOKING FOR WORK and an awareness that even part-time at the computer for long stretches without a break of closing/relaxing ones eyes is not going to be easy-on-the-eyes even if one is paid for the time !!!

A strong spine beneath the tiny head... a mere reflection .. A strong spine beneath the tiny head... a mere reflection in a puddle puddle our neighborhood ... the brightness of a puddle on the cement. The glow of the reflected sunlight in the apartment window. The blue reflection of the sky. The wetness of rain-bubbles.
THE TOTAL SURPRISE that a puddle on cement can hold such a very pristine reflection.
THE TOTAL SURPRISE that in a photo rain bubbles look like piled frame-row of snow!
