      me too -- could have been a librarian in another life. I spent hours in our local bookstore as a kid, then I worked there in college. I miss independent bookstores.

      I love everything about books too. I read so much and one of the best things ever is getting lost in a good book. :) Gorgeous shot. The cherry pattern is so awesome.

      I could have happily been a librarian too ... apart from a huge love of books, sadly I also love to catalogue and sort and I have a secret obsession for covering books :)

      I've always thought that I'm a librarian in some parallel universe.
      And I've been a fiend for getting lost in books this past couple of months (mostly revisiting old high school favourites by Margaret Laurence and Martha Ostenso)
      In a rush, but this one caught my eye. Looking forward to coming back for a good peruse <3

      Did you read Love Is A Mix Tape yet? I read that one and really really enjoyed it. Love photographs of books, too. Can never tire of books in any form!

      I finished all three of those books over Thanksgiving weekend. I did enjoy Love is a Mix Tape, but I was a grad student in Charlottesville while the author and his wife were, and so the book was a walk down memory lane for me - I gobbled it up.
