A pic from my weekend drive to National Highway 17,through the heart of Konkan Region - Greenary and Nature at its best !!

The Changhu lake is situated 12400 feet above sea level in the state of Sikkim, which lies on the North-East region of India.Splendid as it looks,the place remains covered in snow for most part of the year. About 30 kms up north of the place lies the Nathu La border - which separates India and China. Its also known as Tsongmo lake in the local language.

Carry sufficeint winter gear to enjoy the visit to this place.

This place is in Bhutan - A small country landlocked between India and China. D'Zong is an administrative building which has the law court,police administration and over all district headquaters . The D'zong also hosts a Monestry . Bumthang District is a district abt 250 KMS from Thimphu- Capital City of Bhutan.Lonely,quite and serene as it can be, Bumhthang has many hotels for tourists. The town also has other monestaries which are more than 150 yrs old.
