Trains don't have to stop, or be stopped when it snows a little.
After witnessing the mess which we make of operating our transport system, and the embarrassment which our railways under minimal snowfall have become, it never ceases to amaze me that countries such as China are able to operate steam locomotives ... running on water, at temperatures way below freezing.
