   Thanks Carsten and John......it was indeed a very powerful storm. We had $10 million dollars damage from the golf ball sized hail that fell that day.

    Hi Andrea and TTLG :o) It was one of the most terrifying looking storms I've seen. We were out in the community garden patch when the golf ball sized hail started falling and we ran to the car (I thought for sure our windshield was going to be smashed).

    Like a Magritte surreal painting, you have two distinct weather patterns in one photo. Very nice! Plus the mundane shape of the mill contrasts sharply with the drama of the clouds. Very nice photo!
