Our cute critters, illustrated by Kate McLelland, feature in Animail, the viral element of the campaign. Animail, an email newsletter and online animation, was developed to help raise money and rally public support for a ban on the use of snares in Scotland.

We also integrated Twitter and Facebook applications to encourage users to spread the word about Snare Free Scotland with their online network.

Snare Free Scotland supporters can send animails direct to their friends from the OneKind.org website. Recipients receive an HTML message and link to watch a personalised animation and appeal for donations.

Funds raised by the animail campaign will be used to target MSPs in the run up to a vote on the Wildlife and Natural Environment Bill in the Scottish Parliament planned for late 2010.
