It's nearly May and I just had to create a "2011" folder on my laptop for this one shot.
I really miss how things used to be when I was on here every day.
This weekend has been wonderful and i've finally got a bit of head space. I can't even imagine having enough to get back to where I was last summer, but maybe one day.

Sometimes it's really hard to take a totally honest shot. The urge to self-edit, to gloss, to conform, is huge. But this is how the end of 2010 feels: uncertain, on the brink, changeable.
To all my Flickr friends, I wish you a creative and happy 2011. Maybe the best is yet to come.
