      This was the Odean one of 2 cinema's in Sittingbourne. The Queens was the other one. In the mid 70's it closed to become just a bingo hall but then the queens closed so part of it was split to become a two screen cinema again.

      One of my grandmothers played her bingo here every Thursday evening for years and years. Back in the 50's the Salvation Army band had an open air meeting here every Sunday evening to catch the queue waiting for the evening performances.

      I wish someone would take responsibility and preserve this. I sincerely hope their aren't plans to demolish it in the redevelopment.
