Earth Hour (www.earthhour.org) is on March 29, 2008. This global event encourages governments, businesses and residents in major cities worldwide to turn off lights and unplug unnecessary appliances for 60 minutes between 8 and 9 p.m. Organized by the World Wildlife Fund, Earth Hour is meant to show solidarity in the fight against climate change.
