Bow ties on a dock! :) I recently photographed these ties for the launch of the High Cotton Ties summer line! It was fun and really out of my element. I'm sorry for not being on here often lately.. the loss of my grandmother has made things a little extra difficult around here lately.

I'm sorry for the long break between uploads.. My grandmother passed away two weeks ago and I haven't had the heart to go out and take any new photographs since then. She was very sick and I had been helping to take care of her for the last few weeks of her life. She was an incredible woman, from whom I get my stubborn determination and humor. I miss her so much that it hurts... I never actually realized that your heart could physically hurt from emotional pain - but indeed, there is such a thing. Just say a prayer if you can.

A very abstract, non-narrative, stop motion video I put together as a class project for Visual Studies. Created using a newspaper and pearlized sprinkles on black paper. The sprinkles ten to group and move and feel like cells growing until they are revealed at the very end.

So different from anything I've ever done before. It was really challenging and eye-opening. I have so much respect for people who do animation... it's hard. Very hard.

I hope everyone had a wonderful Easter weekend! I spent mine with my family... but now it's back to the grind! A little Monday Blues!

Yesterday I celebrated my five year anniversary with my long-term boyfriend, Hugh! He woke me up with breakfast in bed & I baked him a cake with this cute candle! A simple way of celebrating our relationship - it was so sweet and lovely! The last five years have been an incredible journey of growing up and falling in love... I hope the next five years are just as wonderful! :)
