In the frame

Aiguille du Mesure is framed by the platform canopy at Vallorcine, the last station before the Swiss border. Most trains from either direction terminate here, though some run through to and from Martigny, in Switzerland.

Sun, snow and solid seats

Argentiere Gare SNCF. Many of the stations along this line had these solidly-built wooden seats – probably as old (opened in 1908) as the stations themselves...
