playing with flash
I'm broke and can't afford a real external flash, so i have to improvise.
might edit another one, ill post it later.
***HEY ALSO***
I guess I could tell you guys how I got the lighting effect with the
in-camera flash.
so.
This is actually a picture of a mirror's reflection, the camera is
sitting just off frame to my left, with a home-made directional flash
cone pointed at me *not at the mirror* which is where I get the cool
shadowing effect.

Next year when I'm up at school with you feel free to use my studio lights! I want to get a flash but I cant afford it :S. Love the contrast in lighting in this picture tho.. From what I remember Jim saying your pretty tall, you'll have to show me how to set up horizontal portraits.. I'm like 6'5 and I for the life of me cant figure out how to set those up to look decent...
