That's NASA Astronaut Clayton C. Anderson, ISS Expedition 15 flight engineer.

Handful of reasons this is a cool shot:
1. It was taken in space
2. It includes the earth in the photo
3. It includes an astronaut in the photo
4. It's a picture taken of an astronaut , taken by the astronaut (a self-portrait i suppose is a valid term to use)
5. The camera's point of view (which is also our point of view) can see the following, a reflection of itself (the camera), the astronaut's helmet, a reflection of the astronaut's hands, a reflection of space and a reflection of the earth
6. The astronaut's point of view sees the camera, his hands, the real view of earth, and the real view of space!
Awesome!!

1 word. BADASS.

Meh.
The exposure is "correct" but nothing special. The lens of the camera draws the eye as a focal point. I'd probably recompose with the camera lower to show more of the Earth instead. The clone tool can take some of the scratches out of the visor.
Did this get stretched vertically? It looks like the aspect ratio got messed up. Also, consider cropping to the circle of the visor (if you have the resolution to do it)
All in all, an average shot. Apart from the fact, of course, that he's in FRICKING SPACE, which is obviously the coolest thing ever.
Great shot!
